Alex Rabke

Head Of Business Development, Americas at Blockdaemon

Alex Rabke has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as part of the Global Wealth and Investment Management team at Merrill Lynch, where they focused on business development optimization and implemented improvements to service offering methodology. In 2012, they joined CME Group as a Trading and Business Systems Analyst, where they documented match engine functionality, optimized settlement procedures, and organized electronic trading simulation sessions.

From 2012 to 2014, Alex worked at Cisco, starting as an Associate Sales Representative and eventually becoming an Enterprise Account Manager. They achieved exceptional sales performance and were responsible for revenue growth, account penetration, and new label generation.

They then transitioned to roles at Unbound Tech, where they served as a Sales Director and later as the Director of Digital Asset Security, focusing on securing blockchain transactions and developing institutional-grade cybersecurity platforms.

In 2018, Alex became a Board Advisor for the Cyber Security Competency Group, where they influenced the organization's strategic direction. They also served as a Principal Consultant at 7Nines, LLC, advising and consulting on high-tech, cybersecurity, and blockchain projects.

During their time as a Strategic Advisor for a company called NewCo, Alex contributed their expertise until 2021.

In 2021, Alex co-founded Mr. Block, Inc., a company that started as a SaaS-based knowledge hub and community for bitcoin newcomers but later pivoted back to e-commerce, specializing in Bitcoin and pop-culture merchandise. They are currently the Co-Founder and COO of Mr. Block, Inc.

Since 2021, Alex has been working at Blockdaemon as the Sales Director and is currently serving as the Head of Business Development, Americas.

Additionally, Alex also worked as a Regional Sales Manager and a Strategic Advisor for Splunk, where they provided consulting services for go-to-market planning, client engagement, and product development in the blockchain/DLT space.

Alex Rabke attended Lafayette College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Economics. Prior to college, they attended Bridgewater-Raritan High School from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their education, Alex obtained several certifications from Cisco in 2013, including Sales Specialist for Unified Computing Technology, Advanced Borderless Network Account Manager Exam, Advanced Collaboration Architecture Sales Specialist, Data Center Networking Solutions Sales, Sales Specialist for Unified Fabric Technology, and Cisco Sales Expert.
