Omar Boufeloussen

Omar Boufeloussen is a Senior Data Scientist at Blocksi Inc since October 2021, leading a team of developers and data scientists to deliver AI-driven educational products, including the design and development of large language models for content moderation. Prior to this role, Omar served as a Data Scientist at ICube Strasbourg, focusing on automating inventive design processes using AI and developing a semantic search engine through NLP techniques. Earlier experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Thales on identity fraud detection projects and an internship at Haut Commissariat au Plan, where sentiment analysis was applied to evaluate Moroccan quality of life through social media. Omar began a career in data with a data management internship at ONEE-Branche Eau and holds an engineering degree in information technologies from Ecole des sciences de l'information.
