Erik De Smedt

Erik De Smedt has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Erik began as a Jobstudent at KU Leuven in 2014, then worked as a Digital Oil Field Consultant at IPCOS NV from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Data Analytics Expert at BASF. Erik is currently a Full Stack Engineer at Blockstream.

Erik De Smedt attended KU Leuven from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Ingenieurswetenschappen. Erik then returned to KU Leuven from 2013 to 2015, obtaining a Master's degree in Mathematical Engineering and a Master of Sciences of Mathematical Engineering certification in September 2015.
