Lizzy Mcnevin is the Co-Head of Marketing & Communications at BlocPower. Prior to this, they served as a Policy Fellow at Change the Chamber from January 2021 to December 2021, where they worked with an advocacy campaign to educate the largest pro-fossil fuel lobbying group in the country on climate change. From September 2019 to May 2020, Mcnevin served as a Bid and Procurement Analyst for the City of Trenton. And from January 2019 to September 2021, they served as an Environment Policy Consultant - Communications for WE ACT for Environmental Justice.
Mcnevin has experience in driving strategy behind multi-state, bipartisan policy objectives and monitoring the nuances of position shifts and regulatory proceedings. Lizzy has also executed on stakeholder engagement strategies to rally support for climate legislation with multinational companies and U.S. Senators. Additionally, Mcnevin has capitalized on their youth culture expertise to create power that has positively shifted the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s position on climate legislation and renewable energy.
Lizzy Mcnevin has a Master of Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a certification from Arizona State University’s Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems in Farmer Citizen Food Policy Certificate. Lizzy also has certifications from Google in AdWords Certified and Video Advertising Certified, and from Facebook in Digital Media Buying and Planning (DBPC).
