Joe Jon

Joe Jon has over 28 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Joe is currently working as the Director of Solution Architect at Bloom Energy since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Schneider Electric for 22 years, starting in 1999. At Schneider Electric, they held multiple roles including Global Solution Architect, Head of Competency Center, Solutions Application Manager, Sr Staff Solution Sales, Engineering Manager, and Staff Application Engineer. Before joining Schneider Electric, Joe Jon worked as a Project Engineer at GE Zenith Controls from 1997 to 1999, and as a Quality Engineer at Grainger from 1993 to 1997.

Joe Jon has a Master of Science (MScEE) degree in Electrical Engineering - Power, which they obtained from the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1996. Joe also holds a Bachelor of Science (BScEE) degree in Electrical Engineering, which they earned from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Joe Jon has several certifications including Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineers and Professional Energy Manager from the Institute of Energy Professionals. Joe is also a Professional Engineer in Illinois.
