Ranganathan Gurunathan's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Ranganathan started their career at Lucent as an MTS in 2000 and left in 2001. Ranganathan then worked as a design engineer at Hical Magnetics in 2002. After that, they joined APC as a staff engineer from 2002 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked at Bloom Energy as a principal engineer, and from 2012 to 2013, they were a senior principal engineer at the same company. Ranganathan then became the director of engineering at Bloom Energy from 2014 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Engineering (PCS) at Bloom Energy from February 2022.
Ranganathan Gurunathan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from Crescent Engineering College in 1993. Ranganathan then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc Engg) in Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1994 to 1996. Subsequently, they obtained their Ph.D. in Power Electronics from the University of Victoria from 1996 to 1999.
