Lucy Bennett

Lucy Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Lucy started their career as a Sales Assistant at Bocketts Farm Park in 2006 and worked there until 2013. Lucy then transitioned into the technology industry, working as a Software Tester at CSE-Tynemarch Systems Ltd from July 2013 to March 2014. Lucy gained experience in IT proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access, and SQL Server.

In 2014, Lucy joined HM Revenue & Customs as a Higher Officer/Caseworker. Lucy completed a fast-paced training program focused on AAT recognized modules and worked on compliance checks, records examination, and contacting customers. Lucy also presented to HMRC's Senior Leadership Team on their experiences and suggestions for future recruits.

Lucy switched to the private sector in 2015 and became a Finance Assistant at Procam TV. Lucy completed several ACCA exams through self-study and achieved an average pass mark of 82%. Lucy'sresponsibilities included producing analysis work for higher management, maintaining the fixed asset register, and handling month-end journals.

In 2018, Lucy joined Moore Stephens UK as an Associate, working in this role until February 2019. Lucy then moved to BDO UK LLP, first as an Associate from February to May 2019, and later as a Senior Associate. At BDO UK LLP, Lucy managed a portfolio of clients, prioritizing workloads, and meeting deadlines. Lucy'sresponsibilities included bookkeeping tasks, bank and credit card reconciliations, payment runs, raising invoices, and preparing VAT returns. Lucy also completed several ACCA exams with an average pass mark of 70%.

Lucy's most recent role is at Bloom & Wild, where they started in August 2019 as an Assistant Management Accountant and later transitioned into the role of Management Accountant - FP&A in April 2021.

Lucy Bennett attended the University of Leeds from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics. Lucy successfully completed their studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
