Megan Ross

Megan Ross is a City Climate Advocate at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where strategic guidance is provided for building equitable, climate-resilient communities. Prior roles include Climate Advisor at the Los Angeles Mayor's Office of Sustainability, focused on accelerating equitable building decarbonization, and involvement in the American Cities Climate Challenge. Additional experience encompasses a CELI Fellowship with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, management of EDF Climate Corps summer fellows, and research on wildfire risk resilience at Columbia University's Earth Institute. Early career positions include project management roles across various organizations, including RECON LLC and Aurora Remote Services. Megan holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from the University of Denver, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature from the University of Virginia.
