Hao Li

Hao Li is an experienced R&D Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP since October 2017, specializing in a Data Service Anomaly Detection Application that processes over 500 million data points daily to identify performance issues and data discrepancies. Prior to this role, Hao Li conducted master’s thesis research at Penn State University on anomaly detection using machine learning techniques and developed a dynamic social media website for studying exploitative behavior. A research assistant at the State Key Lab of Advanced Optical Communication Systems and Networks at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hao Li contributed to publications on BOCDA sensor equipment for structural health monitoring. Educational qualifications include two Master of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, achieving notable GPAs of 3.5 and 3.68 respectively.
