Wilbert Kennedy has a diverse work experience, starting in 1984 as a Defensive Tackle at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. From 1994 to 1997, they worked as a Special Conservation Warden at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. In 1989, they began a long career as a Football Player for the Racine Raiders until 2009. In 1997, they transitioned to the Bloomfield Police Department, where they held the positions of Police Sergeant and eventually Chief of Police from February 2023 onwards. Wilbert also served as a Defensive Line Coach for the Lake Geneva Badger High School from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they have been involved with the American Football Association and the Racine Raiders as a Defensive Line Coach and has been inducted into their Hall of Fame.

From 1984 to 1990, Wilbert Kennedy attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout. During this time, they studied Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Management. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree or not.
