Daniel Hawthorne

Daniel Hawthorne is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Memphis ISD SRO Officer at Hall County Sheriff's Office since September 2017. Hawthorne, is also the Manager and Owner of Dangerous Dan's Guns since August 2017. Prior to these roles, Daniel served as a Senior Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety from February 1989 to September 2020, where responsibilities included Highway Patrol duties along with roles as a Public Information Officer and Safety Education Officer. Daniel has also operated a small business providing computer repair and software training from March 1994 to June 2014, and previously ran an internet service provider from February 1994 to September 1997. Daniel holds a Master’s Peace Officers Certificate in Law Enforcement and Related Protective Services, with training completed between 1988 and 2014.
