Baris Can Vural

Baris Can Vural has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Baris Can began their career as an intern at Anda Teknoloji in February 2014, where they completed a three-month internship. In July 2014, Baris undertook another internship at Netas, which lasted for a month.

After gaining some experience through their internships, Baris joined Virtuagym in June 2016 as a Developer. Baris Can worked in this role for two months before joining Bloomreach in June 2017. At Bloomreach, they initially worked as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to the position of Staff Site Reliability Engineer in May 2021.

Baris has showcased their skills and adaptability throughout their career, progressing from internships to more specialized roles within technology companies.

Baris Can Vural holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in computer science from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. During the same period, they also pursued another Master's degree in Internet and Web Technologies from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

Prior to their master's studies, Baris completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Baris Can Vural also obtained two additional certifications. In December 2019, they obtained the certification of Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation). In April 2020, they also acquired the Bloomreach Search and Merchandising - Technical Integrations certification from Bloomreach.
