Emily Farrar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they are the Head of Website Operations at Bloomreach, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, Emily worked at Basware from 2018 to 2021, holding the role of Senior Marketing Technology & Website Experience Manager. In this role, they led a global team and developed data-driven solutions to enhance online user experiences. Emily also served as a Digital Campaign Manager at Basware from 2018 to 2019, where they launched a marketing automation platform and managed various strategic online and offline activities.

Before joining Basware, Emily worked at Momentive from 2014 to 2018, where they held the position of Global Digital Marketing Manager. During this time, they implemented digital lead generation programs and marketing technologies. Emily also worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at Momentive from 2014 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Emily worked as a Marketing Coordinator at the Small Business Development Center from 2013 to 2014, where they helped early education providers improve their marketing strategies. Emily also had an internship at Madison+Main in 2013, where they supported account managers and conducted SEO and SEM analysis for digital marketing campaigns.

Additionally, Emily worked as a Senior Leadership Consultant for Phi Mu Fraternity from 2011 to 2012, consulting young women leaders in business management and leadership. Emily had internships at O'Brien et al. Advertising in 2012 and Richmond Magazine in 2011. Finally, Emily participated in a student workshop at The Martin Agency in 2011.

Throughout their career, Emily has received recognition for their contributions, including the Q3 Marketing Rockstar Award for North America while at Basware.

Emily Farrar attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mass Communications with a focus on Strategic Advertising. Additionally, they have earned several certifications from HubSpot, including Inbound Sales Certified in December 2018, E-mail Marketing Certification in December 2016, Inbound Certification in June 2016, and HubSpot Sales Software Certification in December 2020.
