Algirdas Desceras

Algirdas Desceras has a diverse work experience in various marketing and real estate roles. Algirdas started their career in 2011 as a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Inreal Grupė, where they provided advice to prospects, organized property sale and lease processes, and analyzed real estate market trends. In 2014, they joined Syndy as an Online Marketing Lead, responsible for managing the distribution and tracking of e-commerce product content across retailer websites. During their internship at SyndicatePlus, they conducted research on FMCG e-commerce and grocery retail trends, resulting in industry reports. Since 2017, Algirdas has been working at Bloomreach, initially as a Demand Generation Manager and later as a Senior Global Demand Generation Manager. Their responsibilities at Bloomreach included driving lead-gen activities across various paid channels, organizing and promoting webinars, and optimizing the lead-gen funnel. Currently, Algirdas holds the role of Head of Marketing Operations at Bloomreach, where they are responsible for setting and executing the company's performance marketing strategy.

Algirdas Desceras has a diverse education history. Algirdas obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance at Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas between 2008 and 2012. Earlier in their education, from 1996 to 2008, Algirdas earned their high school diploma in Secondary Education from Kaunas Jonas Basanavičius gymnasium.

Alongside their formal education, Algirdas has also acquired additional certifications. Algirdas became a Hubspot Marketing Software Certified professional after completing the certification course offered by HubSpot in March 2021. In addition, they obtained the Marketo Certified Expert certification, although the specific month of completion is not provided, it is known to have been obtained in 2018.
