Kristijan Štefanac

Kristijan Štefanac has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Kristijan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomreach since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at t-matix engineering as a Software Engineer from January 2021 to August 2021. At t-matix engineering, they were involved in building a cloud-native data collection IoT platform and implementing new microservices using Python. Kristijan also maintained existing microservices built in node.

Before joining t-matix engineering, Kristijan worked at Ericsson from March 2017 to January 2021. Kristijan held the role of Technical Team Lead from November 2018 to January 2021, where they led a team of senior consultants in an agile environment and was responsible for feature development on GSM embedded Linux station controller. Kristijan also played a key role in building custom solutions, refactoring and improving the legacy code base. As a Software Developer at Ericsson from March 2017 to November 2018, they worked on application development for GSM embedded Linux station controller, including maintenance and new feature development. Kristijan implemented a power controller simulator based on the modbus protocol and added support for Shoto BMS.

Kristijan Štefanac pursued their education in the field of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Kristijan obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, completing their studies between 2013 and 2016. Subsequently, they went on to earn a Master's degree at the same institution from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic achievements, Kristijan obtained certifications in Go, Linux, and Python from TestDome. Kristijan acquired the Linux and Python certifications in April 2020, while the Go certification was obtained in March 2022.
