Paulo Dias has a diverse range of work experience in the field of supply chain management and procurement. Paulo started their career as a Production Manager Internship at IRVTextil in 2013, where they gained experience in ERP development and implementation, production control, and quality control. In 2014, they worked as a Researcher at ESEIG, focusing on bridging the gap between the labor market and higher education through database analysis and quality control management. Paulo then joined Prozis in 2014, where they held various roles including Logistics Consultant, Supply Chain Manager, and Head of Supply Chain and International Delivery Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for data analysis for raw materials importations, developing a database for comparing import costs with stock needs, and managing export and import operations. At Leroy Merlin Portugal, they worked as a Joker from 2016 to 2017. Paulo then joined Siemens Logistics in 2017 as a Purchasing and Procurement Manager, responsible for negotiation, contracting, and evaluation of offers in both direct and indirect procurement. Paulo also worked at Siemens as an Export Control and Customs Classification specialist during the same period. Paulo continued their career at Efacec in 2018 as a Procurement and Purchasing Controller, focusing on negotiation, contracting, and evaluation of offers, as well as supplier evaluation and qualification. Paulo also managed both direct and indirect procurement, including telecom, electrical equipment, and professional services. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Supply Chain Manager at Empatica, overseeing all aspects of the supply chain. Paulo then became a Supply Chain Team Lead at Fusion Fuel in 2022 before joining Bloq.it as a Supply Chain Manager in 2023.

Paulo Dias completed a Mestrado in Informação e Sistemas Empresariais from Instituto Superior Técnico, with a completion year of 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Systems Engineering from Instituto Politécnico do Porto, which was completed in 2013. In 2012, they also participated in the ERASMUS program and obtained an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Deusto. Furthermore, in 2017-2018, Paulo Dias pursued a degree in Supply Chain Management, specializing in Supply Chain, at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
