Richard (Chopper) Williams has over three decades of experience in the construction and asphalt paving industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Blount Construction Company, Inc. since January 2008, Richard has also held roles as General Superintendent and Asphalt Superintendent within the same organization. Prior to this, Richard worked at Apac Southeast Inc. as an Asphalt Superintendent from January 1999 to January 2008, and served in similar capacities at Riverdale Paving Co Inc. and McCarthy Improvement Company, where Richard began as an Asphalt Foreman in June 1987.

Blount Construction Company was established in the mid 1940's by Mr. George Blount. Blount has been serving its client base in the metro Atlanta, ever since, specializing in services such as Paving, Grading, Site Utilities, Stream Restoration, Utility Locating, Surveying, Full Depth Reclamation, Soil Stabilization and has recently added a new service of HA5, a pavement preservation solution.
