Kelly then pursued their higher education at Syracuse University - College of Visual and Performing Arts from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. During their time at Syracuse University, Kelly studied Interior Design, Business Management, and Painting.

In 2012, Kelly obtained their NCIDQ Certification (NCIDQ) from the Council for Interior Design Qualification - CIDQ, further enhancing their professional qualifications in the field of interior design.
