Erica Anderson Rooney

Erica Anderson Rooney has a diverse and extensive work experience. Erica is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at Blue Acorn iCi, where they lead the people strategy, employee experience, and employee lifecycle globally. Erica is also a Senior Vice President of Employee Experience at the same company, where they focus on building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals.

Previously, Erica worked as a Member at Chief, starting in September 2022. Before that, they were an HR Manager Employee Engagement at bioMérieux, where they developed and executed strategic initiatives to ensure a successful and engaged workforce.

Erica also worked as an HR Manager & Benefits Administrator at Eli Global and a Human Resource Business Partner at nThrive (now FinThrive), where they managed various HR functions and implemented total rewards and compensation policies.

Prior to that, Erica served as a Senior Coordinator at Verizon, where they developed and implemented policies for the National Health and Wellness team, managed external benefit resources, and handled employee relations and performance management.

Their early career includes working as a Personal Trainer at Gainesville Health & Fitness, where they conducted consultations, designed exercise programs, and managed marketing and sales for the Corporate Wellness Division. Overall, Erica has demonstrated expertise in HR management, employee engagement, and people strategy.

Erica Anderson Rooney's education history includes a Master of Science degree in an unspecified field of study from the University of Florida, obtained in 2008. Erica also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education from the same university, which they completed in 2007.
