Tessa Vekich

Tessa Vekich is a versatile professional with experience in both the performing arts and scientific research. Currently serving as a Dance Teacher at Rhythm & Soul Dance Studio since November 2022, Tessa instructs ballet technique and performance for children and choreographs group dances for recitals. Tessa also holds the position of Lead Server at Blue Agave and has previously worked as a Senior Lab Technician and Farm Lab Technician at Lemnature AquaFarms, where Tessa established lab protocols and safety measures. Prior roles include Research Technician at the Smithsonian Institution, where Tessa managed coral care, and Research Intern at the University of Miami, focusing on oxygen analysis. Tessa's background in the industry began with a role as a Chemistry Technician at MarkWest Energy Partners, and a Professional Singer with Nik Entertainment Co. Tessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, both from SUNY Brockport.
