Josh Hughes

Josh Hughes has extensive experience in aviation and safety, serving as a Contract Close Air Support Pilot and Safety Official at Blue Air Training Corp. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Josh served a distinguished 24-year career in the United States Air Force, where important positions included Director of Safety at the USAF Warfare Center, Chief of Safety for US Air Forces Korea, and Commander of the Air-to-Ground Operations School in Europe. Josh's military background features expertise as an F-16 Aggressor Pilot and an A-10C Instructor Pilot, among other roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Aeronautical Science with a concentration in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Aerospace Physiology from the United States Air Force Academy. Additionally, Josh attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
