Michael Velezis

Michael Velezis has extensive work experience in the legal field. Michael began their career in 2000 as a Partner at Wallace, Jordan, Ratliff & Brandt, where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama as an Executive Counsel, and later worked as Director of Legal Services. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President of Legal Services, and in September 2019, they became the Vice President and General Counsel of the company.

Michael Velezis completed their education at Bentley University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General. Following this, they pursued higher education at Samford University from 1992 to 1995, obtaining a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a specialization in Law.
