Michael Lawrence

Michael Lawrence, APR, is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Regional Communications Lead for Florida Blue since August 2022, overseeing all communications activities in Central Florida. Previously, Michael held roles such as Communications Officer for Seminole County Public Schools from 2013 to 2022, where leadership was provided for marketing and communications strategies, and Communications Manager for the City of Orlando from 2008 to 2013, where management of multimedia and special events teams was conducted. Additional experience includes positions at Downtown Orlando, Orange County Government, and Senior Resource Alliance, where responsibilities encompassed diverse marketing and public relations efforts. Michael obtained a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Central Florida.
