Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson, MBA, PHR, currently serves as an HR Strategic Business Partner at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City since October 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions at Children's Mercy Kansas City from December 2019 to October 2023, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Senior Employee Relations Professional. Mike's experience also includes multiple roles at HNI Corporation from June 2013 to December 2019, where responsibilities ranged from Member and Community Relations HR Business Partner to Talent Acquisition Specialist. Early career experience includes serving at Red Lobster from November 2005 to June 2013. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, complemented by a Leadership Certificate, and possesses Bachelor’s degrees in both Marketing and Political Science from the same institution.
