Austin C.

Austin C. has a diverse work experience. Austin is currently an Associate Director of Climate and Health Resilience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Prior to this role, they worked as a Principal Scientist at Domelabs AI, specializing in AI in Public Health and Medicine. Austin also served as the President and Principal Scientist at Hilltown Engineering.

In terms of their earlier experiences, Austin worked as the Manager of AR/VR Community Engagement Content at Axon, where they focused on improving police and civilian outcomes through community engagement training. Austin also worked as a Scientist, Human Centered AI, and PI at Charles River Analytics, managing teams and leading various research projects funded by NIH, CDC, and DOD.

Before their scientific roles, Austin worked as a Data Scientist at the American Red Cross, where they contributed to the development of evidence-based approaches to address environmental health challenges. Austin also held research assistant positions at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard University, and served as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School.

Austin's earliest work experience was as an Assistant to Health & Human Constituent Services at the United States Senate, where they handled various constituent casework.

Austin C. completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in the field of Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 2014 to 2016. In 2021, Austin C. participated in several executive education programs at Harvard University, including "Leading in Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Technology and Policy" at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Additionally, Austin C. completed an executive education program titled "Leading Digital Transformation in Healthcare" at Harvard Medical School in the same year. Austin C. also obtained a TNEC Certificate in HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2021. Prior to these, Austin C. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Emerson College from 2006 to 2010. In 2014 to 2016, Austin C. also participated in the Public Health Leadership Lab at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
