Kevin Vermeer retired as president and CEO of UnityPoint Health in 2020. The UnityPoint Health system operates hospitals and clinics throughout Iowa, central and western Illinois, and central Wisconsin. In addition to his role as president and CEO, Vermeer held several financial and strategic leadership positions at UnityPoint Health throughout his 20-year career with the organization.

Vermeer holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree in management from New England College in New Hampshire.
