Margaret Pinello-White

Chief Administrative Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont Inc.

Growing up on a working dairy farm in Randolph Center, Margaret learned at an early age the value of hard work and being resourceful. She has drawn on those skills during her 14 years with the company, working in a wide variety of roles. Starting as a human resources specialist, she has also been a worksite health and wellness coordinator, benefits manager, and most recently their director of human resources and facilities.

In her current role as chief administrative officer, Margaret oversees claims, mail and document management, payment integrity, audit, human resources, learning and organizational development, and facilities.

Margaret earned her bachelor’s degree from Vermont Technical College and a master’s degree in business administration with a focus in organizational leadership from Norwich University. She has participated in several leadership programs, including the Vermont Leadership Institute, which she graduated from in 2022. She is currently working on a degree in mediation from Champlain College’s Center for Mediation and Dialogue. Margaret is also a senior certified professional in the Society for Human Resource Management.

For 10 years, Margaret has volunteered with the Green Mountain United Way, serving on its board, committees, and in leadership positions. She currently is chair of the organization’s board of directors and a finance committee member.
