Gail Palmer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Gail started their career as a Business Analyst at Pacificare/United Insurance in 1999, where they audited provider files and Medicare HMO claims for payment accuracy. In 2006, Gail joined Health Choice Arizona as an Internal Auditor, ensuring that claims were processed correctly and auditing provider adds for accuracy. Gail later became a Medicare Compliance Analyst before returning to the role of Internal Auditor. Gail joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona in 2020 as a Quality Control Claims Audit Technician Lead, where they lead and trains auditors and conducts audits to ensure accurate claim adjudication.
