Maria Puerta

Maria Puerta, RN, BSN, MHA has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Maria began their career at Mercy Care in 2005, where they served as a Manager Managed Care Maternal Child Health for over 13 years. In January 2019, Maria joined Total Empowerment Services as a Cultural Health Diversity Consultant. Later that year in April, they transitioned to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona as the Director of Maternal Care Management. Maria's background in maternal child health and expertise in managing healthcare services make their a valuable asset to any organization.

Maria Puerta, RN, BSN, MHA completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Seton Hall University between 1980 and 1985. Maria further pursued their education at the University of Phoenix from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master's in Health/Health Care Administration/Management (MHA).
