Sheri Palmer has over 28 years of work experience in project management and program management. Sheri currently holds the position of Director Project Management Office at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, where they are responsible for mentoring and selecting Program Managers, Project Managers, and Agile Coaches. Sheri oversees the delivery of large transformation, mandate, and infrastructure programs, as well as the implementation of Agile and Project Management processes, tools, and training. Sheri is skilled in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and prioritizing the well-being of team members.

Prior to their current role, Sheri worked as the Sr Manager PMO at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, where they led a team specializing in agile and project management. Sheri was responsible for adapting and improving existing processes and tools to enhance delivery performance while maintaining transparency to leadership.

Before joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Sheri worked as a Senior Program Manager at LearningMate, Consulting with Arizona Department of Education. Sheri led multiple large programs that were central to the organization's transformation efforts and successfully delivered a high-risk program on time by actively working alongside their team.

Sheri also has experience as a Sharepoint Project Manager at APEX Systems, where they created project plans and architecture for SharePoint 2013 and managed the migration of SharePoint 2010 departmental sites. Sheri played a crucial role in optimizing processes and reducing development and migration time.

In their earlier career, Sheri worked at American Express for 11 years. Sheri held various roles, including Technology Director for Consumer Travel Technologies and Portfolio Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for program and application delivery, driving strategic projects, and ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery across the entire portfolio.

Sheri began their career as an Associate Business Analyst at Bankers Systems, where they gained foundational experience in business analysis.

Sheri Palmer received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Computer Information Systems from St. Cloud State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1992. In addition, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI in September 2005, and the PgMP certification from PMI in April 2009.
