Derek Nordstrom

Derek Nordstrom has a strong background in actuarial analysis and accounting. Derek started their career as a Senior Accountant at UnitedHealthcare, where they were responsible for setting medical reserves and coordinating statutory filings. Derek then moved on to ACS, a Xerox Company, where they worked as an Accountant for a year. After that, they joined Mercer as an Actuarial Analyst before eventually joining Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota as an Actuarial Analyst Principal. In their current role, they support Medicare and Medicaid populations, focusing on rate setting, risk adjustment, forecasting, negotiations, and competitive bidding.

Derek Nordstrom completed their high school education at Hopkins High School from 1992 to 1995. Following that, they attended The University of Tulsa from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics.
