Dhimitraq Gjini

Dhimitraq Gjini has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dhimitraq is currently working as a Seismic Acquisition Lead at Blue Ocean Seismic Services Limited. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Technical Document Specialist at the same company.

Before joining Blue Ocean Seismic Services Limited, Dhimitraq worked as a Technical Consultant at Magseis Fairfield ASA from February 2018 to May 2020. Dhimitraq also served as a Project Manager - Contracting at Stingray Geophysical from September 2015 to February 2018, and at TGS from August 2015 to September 2015.

In addition, Dhimitraq was a Topside Integration Manager at TGS from October 2013 to April 2015. Dhimitraq briefly worked as a Seismic Technical Consultant at ION Geophysical in July 2013 and August 2013.

Prior to their roles in the seismic industry, Dhimitraq held significant positions at RXT and WesternGeco. At RXT, they worked as an Instrumentation Manager from October 2010 to June 2013, where they managed the Instrumentation Department and was responsible for technical support and process improvements. Before that, they served as the Chief Technician from March 2007 to October 2010. At WesternGeco, Dhimitraq worked as the Chief Acquisition Specialist from October 1991 to March 2007.

Dhimitraq's earliest work experience can be traced back to Mechanical Plant of Patos – Albpetrol, where they held the position of Chief Engineer (Head of engineering, design, and manufacturing) from May 1978 to October 1991.

Dhimitraq Gjini's education history begins in 1973 when they enrolled at the University of Tirana. Dhimitraq pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed their studies in 1978.

In 1998, Dhimitraq started attending The Open University, where they spent five years studying from 1998 to 2003. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Technology, with a major in Electronics. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology, completing their studies in 2001.
