Sampath Indika

Sampath Indika has a diverse work experience in various roles within the construction industry. Sampath started their career at Maga Engineering Pvt Ltd as a Quantity Surveyor in November 2007 and worked there until June 2011. Sampath then joined the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka as a Quantity Surveyor from July 2011 to May 2012.

In 2012, Sampath moved to the Housing Development Corporation as a Quantity Surveyor and stayed with the company until April 2015. Sampath then joined Faithful+Gould as a Quantity Surveyor from April 2015 to September 2016.

After that, they worked at Al-Gharbia Enterprises as a Senior Quantity Surveyor from October 2016 to October 2017. Sampath then joined Cost Consultants Services - Sri Lanka as a Senior Cost Consultant from October 2017 to April 2018.

In 2018, Sampath had two positions simultaneously. Sampath started working at Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation as a Senior Quantity Surveyor from April 2018 to December 2019. At the same time, they also joined Blue Ocean Ventures Maldives as a Project Manager, a position they still hold.

Their most recent work experience is at Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited, where they started as a Senior Contract Administrator in March 2020 and later became a Project Manager, a position they currently hold.

Sampath Indika completed a Master of Science (Construction Project Management) degree in the field of Construction and Built Environment from Birmingham City University, which was undertaken from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, Sampath Indika pursued a Professional Level degree in Quantity Surveying & Cost Management from the Institute of Quantity Surveyors Sri Lanka, between 2009 and 2012.
