John Chaparro

John Chaparro's work experience includes several roles in various companies. John is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Blue Planet, a company focused on CO2 management through the conversion of captured CO2 into limestone construction aggregates. Prior to this, John was a Founding Board Member at Inertia Systems, a construction management platform. John also worked as a Managing Director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips, Partner and Chief Operating & Financial Officer at DeepWater Desal, LLC, and Executive Vice President of Finance & Strategy/CFO at AngelMed. John's previous experience includes roles as a Managing Director at RA Capital Advisors LLC and Managing Director at Brown Brothers Harriman.

John Chaparro obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from UC San Diego between 1976 and 1981. John then pursued further education at Stanford University, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Stanford Law School, both between 1981 and 1985.
