Whiskey Director at Blue Run Spirits

Shaylyn Gammon has worked in the alcohol and food industries since 2010. Shaylyn began their career as an intern at Yum! Brands and Land O'Frost in 2011 and 2010, respectively. In 2012, they became a Food Scientist at AmeriQual Group, LLC. In 2014, they joined Campari Group as a Regional Associate Research and Development Scientist. In this role, they managed projects from ideation through first production in the U.S., Canada, Jamaica, and Canada. Shaylyn also developed numerous alcoholic products across Bourbon, Vodka, Tequila, and Rum, and assisted Marketing in developing product ideas. Her expertise in sensory evaluation and knowledge of liquid flavor industry and TTB compliance enabled their to develop an Alcohol 101 educational program for plant and Marketing, as well as Global Ingredient Qualification Guidelines. In 2022, they became Whiskey Director at Blue Run Spirits.

Shaylyn Gammon obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Food Science from the University of Kentucky between 2008 and 2012. Shaylyn also holds certifications from Better Processing School, Genesis Labeling Software, and HACCP, obtained in 2013 and 2012 respectively.
