Hilary Smith

Hilary Smith is a senior program manager at Blue Shield of California Foundation. In this position, she is responsible for executing the Foundation’s grantmaking process and providing programmatic support.

Hilary brings experience from both nonprofit organizations and foundations to her role. Prior to joining the Foundation, Hilary was a program manager at the Olympic Club Foundation in San Francisco where she streamlined the grantmaking process, led relationship cultivation with nonprofit partners, and executed the grants program strategy. Prior to her time at the Olympic Club Foundation, she worked with Citizen Schools, an organization focused on preparing youth for economic success, where she worked on both the fundraising and communications sides, writing grant proposals, cultivating donor relationships, and organizing major fundraising events.

Hilary holds a bachelor’s degree in human development from University of California, Davis.
