Syed H. has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and business intelligence. Syed started their career as a Reporting Analyst/Developer at HP Autonomy in 2006. Syed later worked as a BusinessObjects Admin at the City of Phoenix and then as a Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant at both Cisco and Union Bank of California in 2007 and 2008 respectively. In 2009, Syed joined Kaiser Permanente as a Lead Business Intelligence Consultant and then moved to Quidel as a Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant. Currently, they are working at Blue Shield of California, where they have held multiple roles, including DW/BI Technical Lead, Senior Technical Lead, and currently, Data & Analytics Lead since 2023.

Syed H. obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Technology Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006. In 2012, they also received a Graduate Certification in Project Management from Stanford University. In addition to their formal education, Syed H. has obtained several certifications, including ones in data applications, data sharing, and data warehouse from Snowflake.
