The leadership team at Blue Shield of California has a long history of experience in the industry. They have served on the boards of various companies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Mirantis, Intel Corporation, and the National Academy Foundation IT Advisory Board. They have also been involved with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and the California Association of Health Plans. Their educational background is in computer engineering, human resources management/personnel administration, general economics, and philosophy, politics and economics.
