Allie York

Allie York has had an extensive work experience, beginning in 2017 with a Graduate Student Intern role at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. In 2019, Allie was the Western Regional Director at the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students, where they led and coordinated the efforts of the Vice-Chair and the directors of Communication, Outreach, Advocacy, Social Justice, International Concerns, and Employment Concerns. Also in 2019, Allie began their role as an Instructional Designer at DISH Network, where they developed CBTs and ILTs for customer service agents as curriculum and news updates. In 2020, Allie began their role as an Owner and Chief Learning Designer at York and Yours: Creative Education Solutions, as well as a Tutor for Chemistry, Math, Problem-Solving, and more at Wyzant. In 2021, Allie began their role as a Senior Instructional Designer at Mission Support and Test Services, LLC, where they created e-learning courses and ILTs that center around safety content for the various facilities at the Nevada National Security Site. In 2022, Allie began their roles as a Project Manager at Anchored Training, an Instructional Designer at eLearning Brothers, an Instructional Designer/ Developer at Blue Sky eLearn, and an Adjunct Faculty for Chemistry at Victor Valley College, where they emphasize problem-solving, algebra practice, and real-world applications of chemistry to medical fields.

Allie York has an education history that includes a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines (2016-2019), a Teaching Credential in Single Subject - Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach (2013-2015), and a BS in Biochemistry from California State University, Long Beach (2008-2013).
