Philip Vanderlugt

Philip Vanderlugt is an experienced optometrist and board member with a diverse professional background in the healthcare and non-profit sectors. Since March 2021, Philip has served as a board member for Mully Children’s Family, in addition to being the Optometry Liaison for Blue Sky Vision since February 2018. As an optometrist, Philip has been associated with Grand Rapids Ophthalmology since June 2015 and also worked at Alpine Vision from August 2014 to July 2015. Previously, Philip served the same organization from May 1996 to June 2014. In the non-profit sector, Philip has taken on the role of pedALS event coordinator for the Susan Mast ALS Foundation since February 2019, while also managing responsibilities at Grand Park Ventures since March 2012. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Optometry degree from Ferris State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Calvin University.
