Samir Gorasiya

Samir Gorasiya is a highly experienced professional in the field of pharmacology and quality control, currently serving as a Senior Manager for Quality Control, Analytical Methods Lifecycle at bluebird bio since July 2021. Prior to this role, Samir held multiple positions at PPD from December 2017 to July 2021, including Associate Group Leader and Senior Scientist. Educationally, Samir earned a PhD in Pharmacology from St. John's University, alongside a Master of Science in Pharmacology/Toxicology from LIU Brooklyn, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from South Gujarat University. Extensive research experience includes in vivo experiments, mammalian cell culture techniques, and mentoring undergraduate students. Samir also has teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Assistant, coupled with earlier roles as a Medical Representative at Nicholas Piramal Pvt. Ltd. and an Animal Care Worker.
