Sohrab Saraei

Sohrab Saraei currently serves as a Sr. Manager in Bioinformatics Engineering at Quest Diagnostics, overseeing a multidisciplinary team to advance Molecular Genomics & Oncology initiatives. Previously, as a Bioinformatics R&D Manager at Blueprint Genetics, Sohrab led projects on bioinformatic algorithms and managed agile software development processes while collaborating with stakeholders. Earlier experiences include roles at Turku Bioscience and the University of Helsinki, where Sohrab focused on bioinformatics and machine learning projects. Sohrab co-founded and co-hosts InTheBlackBox and holds a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Turku and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
