Rodrigo Cerda

Rodrigo Cerda serves as the Senior Vice President of Health Services and Chief Medical Officer at Independence Blue Cross, where responsibilities include leading initiatives to enhance care coordination and access among health insurers, hospitals, and physicians. Prior to this role, Rodrigo was the Vice President of Clinical Care Transformation, focusing on aligning provider incentives and driving high-value care for members. Additional experience encompasses roles such as Managing Director at Integrated Care Services by PA and Aetna, Attending Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Rodrigo holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a BA in the History of Science and History of Medicine from Yale University. Additionally, Rodrigo is a member of the clinical advisory board for The Blue Venture Fund.
