Sandra Clarke

Sandra Clarke is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in healthcare operations and financial leadership. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Blue Shield of California since August 2018, Sandra oversees operations, transformation, customer experience, growth, and marketing for a nonprofit health plan with over $24 billion in annual revenue. Sandra's prior roles include Chief Financial Officer at Blue Shield, where strategic financial management was critical during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Senior Vice President at Daiichi Sankyo, where impactful initiatives contributed significantly to revenues and profits. Additionally, Sandra is an active board member for various organizations including Synergie Medication Collective, Blue Shield of California Foundation, and Evio, among others. Sandra holds an MS in Jurisprudence focused on Healthcare Law from Seton Hall University School of Law, an MS in Accounting from Bentley University, and a BS in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
