Jared Silvia

Jared Silvia has over eight years of experience in strategy consulting and product management. Jared is currently the CEO of BlueDot Photonics, a photonics technology company. Prior to their current role, Jared was the Director of Product Management and Marketing at Doosan GridTech, where they led the company's product strategy and marketing efforts across software and energy storage delivery business lines. Jared also oversaw the development of outreach material for software products and the company's overall go-to-market strategy.

Before Doosan GridTech, Jared worked at McKinsey & Company for five years as an Engagement Manager. In this role, they led teams of consultants to help senior management at major corporations with their strategic and operational challenges. Jared also developed work plans and timelines for projects ranging from 3 weeks to 7 months. Some notable projects Jared has worked on include a multi-month research effort for the McKinsey Global Institute focused on the future of resources in the global economy through 2035, and acoordinating a multi-site inventory management diagnostic for a manufacturing client which identified opportunities to reduce inventories by 30-40%.

Jared has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jared Silvia received a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MPhil in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Washington.
