Yogi Mueller

Vice President - Leadership & Talent Development at Bluegreen Vacations

Yogi Mueller has a diverse work experience, spanning over several industries. Yogi started their career in 1992 as the owner of Fuzzy Burrito Productions, where they provided PR, marketing, and promotional consultation services. From 1992 to 1993, they also worked as the owner of Outlet Communications.

In 1997, Yogi joined Walt Disney World, where they held various management, operations, and human resources roles until 2005. During this time, they also served as a training specialist and implemented a new time recording software and process for 70,000 Disney employees.

From 2006 to 2007, Yogi worked as a facilitation manager and content specialist at Walt Disney World, where they developed and managed educational programs using Disney Theme Parks as classrooms. Yogi also designed and rolled out new Disney Production Arts and Sciences and View of the Real World programs.

Yogi's next role was as a course director at Full Sail University from 2007 to 2009. Yogi taught the Project and Team Management class for their MS in Entertainment Business Program, both in-person and online.

From 2009 to 2012, Yogi worked as a learning and development manager at Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Yogi was responsible for creating and delivering content on hospitality, guest service, operational training, leadership skills, and onboarding.

In 2006, Yogi started working as an adjunct instructor at the University of Central Florida, Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Yogi taught courses in theme park and attractions management and achieved an excellent rating. Yogi also worked with a special program teaching operational issues in theme parks to a group of young leaders from the United Arab Emirates in 2015.

Yogi co-founded Give 'til it Rocks! in 2008, a company that specializes in event promotion and production for fundraising non-profit organizations. The company matches entertainers with sponsorships and performance venues to support local communities.

Yogi's most recent role was as the vice president of leadership and talent development at Bluegreen Vacations since 2012. Yogi was responsible for the strategic direction of talent development needs and programs in various areas, such as resort operations, contact center, and mortgage servicing. Yogi crafted leadership, operations, and service training products, programs, and initiatives, as well as built and managed leadership development programs in the Career Accelerator Series.

Yogi Mueller holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations from Marquette University. Yogi also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Marketing emphasis from Webster University. Yogi completed their high school education and earned a High School Diploma from St. Louis University High. In addition to their formal education, Yogi Mueller has obtained various certifications, including a Hospitality and Tourism Management Certificate from Florida Atlantic University, a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD), and an Advanced Certification in Articulate Storyline from Articulate. Yogi has also received certifications as an Inspiring Trust Facilitator, a Notary Public, a Performance Consulting specialist from Training Magazine, a Presentation Advantage Facilitator from Franklin Covey, and a Wedding Officiant certified by the State of Florida.
