Claire Wu

Claire Wu has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2014. Claire began as a VR/AR Researcher at Eli Lilly and Company in 2014. In 2017, they co-founded Podium, where they built a computer vision pipeline to analyse handwritten maths and science homework and display this to teachers and pupils in simple, actionable visualisations. In 2020, they became a Product Manager at tray.io and co-founded Holly Health, where they helped people to overcome the intention-action gap in everyday health behaviours. In 2021, they took on a Fellow role at What If Ventures. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Blueheart Health, where they guide couples through all the natural ups and downs that everyone faces so that they always feel connected and secure.

Claire Wu attended the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Philosophy. Claire then went on to UCL from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a PhD in Neuroscience. Claire is currently enrolled in a program at the Philadelphia Association from 2022 to 2023, studying Philosophy and Psychotherapy.
