Henry Cheng

Henry Cheng is an internationally recognized Information Technology leader with over 27 years of experience creating business value by leveraging technology innovation. His career has included Chief Information Officer for three Fortune 500 companies and one tech startup company, and head of Digital Marketing for a major CPG company. His IT and Marketing experience spreads across multiple industries including Consumer Products, Consumer Electronics, Food, Financial Services, Commodity Supply Chain, Real Estate and Property Management.

Henry’s areas of expertise include IT Strategy, Digital Marketing, Go-To-Market Strategy, End-To-End Supply Chain, Digital Transformation, Big Data, eCommerce, SAP ERP, IT Infrastructure, Business Analytics, and Business Process Reengineering.

Prior to joining BlueNalu, Henry was the group CIO of Cedar Holdings Group, a $40 billion Fortune 500 company where he led digital transformation with an IT team of 200 employees. He also spent 10 years with Procter & Gamble and 13 years with Mars Wrigley as their regional CIO Asia Pacific where he led a team of 350 employees across 15 countries. In addition to these more mutual companies, he served for a tech startup company, a smartphone manufacturer as the CIO where he experienced designing, building and scaling up technology, processes and organization.

Having worked in a number of countries including China, Japan, Australia, Canada, USA built him rich global business exposure.

Henry has provided business strategy consulting to several companies in the food service, education services, and investment management sectors.

He received his BS in Radio Engineering from the South China University of Technology, BS in International Business from Nanjing University, and has taken a number of business and leadership programs at HKUST and Harvard Business School.

Henry is a marathon runner and mountain climber, and enjoys tennis and golf.
