Vineet Kohli

Vineet always wanted to be a storyteller, which he believes is what prompted him to seek a career in the patent field. As a patent attorney, he tells a story of a discovery — the patent specification — that began in the lab, and then explains how it would benefit society.

For over 15 years, he has worked on various patents in the biology space including cell biology, cell based assays, gene editing, and bioprocessing, including process engineering. In the food innovation space he worked on expressing recombinant antibodies in plants. He has worked at several large companies such as Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Roche, as well as small companies such as Lundbeck Research USA, and biotech startups.

Vineet has a graduate degree in cell biology, and is a registered patent attorney. He has a seasoned perspective on how to be a strategic business partner with a patent law background, and is excited to share these experiences at BlueNalu.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with my family. He also loves doing miniature photography, and has received accolades for his work.
