Carina Fiocchi

Carina Fiocchi has a diverse work experience in the medical field that spans over two decades. Their most recent role is as a Medical Affairs Director at Blueprint Medicines, a position they began in September 2021. Prior to that, Carina worked at Novartis Oncology from 2012 to 2021, where they held various roles including Therapeutic Area Head for Hematology, Sickle cell disease, Thalassemias, and Solid Tumors. Carina also had experience at Roche Pharmaceuticals as an Avastin Medical Team Leader, Medical Affairs - Oncology, and at Genzyme Europe BV as an MD for EU and Asian-Pacific Medical Director - Global Medical Affairs. Carina has also held positions at Genzyme Italia, Nerviano Medical Sciences, Amgen Italy S.p.a, European Institute of Oncology, Instituto Cardiovascular Rosario, and Hospital Italiano de Rosario as a Hematologist MD Assistant and in various management and program roles.

Carina Fiocchi has a strong education background in the medical field. Carina obtained a degree in Medicine, specifically a Spanish medical degree (Licenciada en Medicina), from the Ministerio de Educacion, Cultura y Deporte in 2004. Prior to that, they completed their medical training and specialization in hematology at the Hospital Italiano Rosario - Hematology Division from 1995 to 1999. Carina also holds an MD degree from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, which they obtained from 1986 to 1992. Additionally, they served as a tutor in the Human Physiology Department at the same university from 1989 to 1991.
